In order to provide an opportunity to all young artists of Bosnia and Herzegovina to submit their projects in the fields of painting, literature, drama or music, Sarajevo kiseljak has extended the deadline for submission of projects.
The contest called “Support art, start culture” is open to all BiH citizens. creatives who can submit their online applications on the web platform www.prekulturna.ba in the period from July 1 to August 15, 2024 .
The expert jury will select one of the best works from each of the fields (painting, literature, drama and music), which will win a prize worth 4,000 KM for the implementation of the submitted project. The total prize pool for all four areas is 16,000 KM. Additionally, as part of this project, a limited edition of carbonated natural mineral water Sarajevo kiseljak in a glass bottle will be launched, from the sale of which funds will be allocated for these artistic projects.
The competition is intended for all those who professionally or amateurs deal with some form of artistic expression through painting, literature, drama or music and have a project that has not yet been realized, for which they need financial support.
“Our brand Sarajevski kiseljak has been working with young artists for many years, and it turned out that there are a lot of talented individuals and groups with great ideas, but unfortunately, they never get the opportunity to show their talent and for their ideas to see the light of day. That’s why by launching the prekulturna.ba platform, we wanted to contribute to the cultural wealth of our country and inspire the further development of artistic projects, because we are aware of how important culture and art are in the development of society”, points out Dunja Durmo, senior brand manager of Sarajevo sour cream.
Sarajevo kiseljak continuously invests in culture and collaborates with young artists. It supports them, inspires them and makes their work accessible to a wider audience.
Thus, two years ago Sarajevo sours launched a project called #preKULturnaboca, which was successfully implemented with the Academy of Fine Arts from Sarajevo and the Academy of Arts from Banja Luka. The students of these two academies created the label of Sarajevo sorrel according to their generation and showed their vision of the brand in the future.
