On September 13 and 14, Sarajevo will host the Second Academic BiH Neurological Forum – a symposium with international participation, organized by the International Academy of Science and Art in Bosnia and Herzegovina (IANUBIH) and the Association for Clinical Neurophysiology in the Federation of BiH (UKNFBIH).
The symposium will last two days, and the participants will be offered 26 lectures along with several sponsored symposia.
The lecturers are distinguished experts from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkey and the countries of the region, and those present will have the opportunity to hear leading authorities from the fields of neurology, neuropsychiatry, physiatry, and related medical disciplines.
The organizers hope that this forum will become a traditional gathering of experts and specialists from these fields, and an opportunity to exchange experiences and acquire new knowledge for the benefit of patients.
The lectures are divided into five thematic units: Culture of empathy as the basis of good clinical practice, Meeting with experts, Headaches, Neuroimmunological disorders, and Extrapyramidal and neurodegenerative disorders. The lecturers come from Turkey (Tekirdag), Slovenia (Ljubljana), Croatia (Zagreb, Osijek), Serbia (Belgrade) and Bosnia and Herzegovina (Tuzla, Sarajevo, Mostar) – says dr. Osman Sinanović, academician and president of the organizing committee of the forum.
Emphasizing the importance of this gathering, dr. Sinanović added that the International Academy for Science and Art in BiH, which he manages, has a large number of different activities.
“We want to encourage, instruct, teach, advocate for nurturing excellence, and that’s all this gathering is ,” says Dr. Sinanović.
This symposium provides a unique opportunity for networking and professional development of experts from various medical fields, with the goal of improving clinical practice and patient care.
