As part of the Meal for All project, representatives of the Association Pomozi.ba knock on doors of at least 1,000 elderly and sick people, and entire families in Bosnia and Herzegovina who are unable to afford a quality meal. In addition to food, they bring a special warmth and a feeling to their homes that they are not forgotten by the whole society. The chain of good deeds of the Association Pomozi.ba was joined by non-carbonated natural mineral water SARA, with a donation in the amount of 5000 BAM, thanks to which 2500 meals will be provided for those who need it the most.
The citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina also gave a direct contribution to the donation, who supported this action by buying SARA water in Mercator stores, in the period from September 7 – October 17, and thus helped their fellow citizens.
“We live and work in challenging times, when we need to take extra care of each other, and especially for the elderly and children, who are not in a position to fight and take care of themselves, and society often neglects and ignores them. The added value of this donation is given by the fact that it is the result of a partnership with Mercator and our customers, who have recognized the importance of caring for these categories of population. This is just one in a series of socially responsible activities of the SARA brand and the company Sarajevski kiseljak. We hope that in this way we will encourage business partners and other local, regional and multinational companies to join this humanitarian action“, said Admir Suljević, director of Sarajevski kiseljak.
Everyone who want to support the project “Meal for All” can do so by calling the number 17001 and thus donate 2 BAM, or one meal, or via the online platform and payment to the standard bank accounts of the Association Pomozi.ba.
“We are very happy having such cooperation and initiatives, because the Association Pomozi.ba, within the” Meal for All “project, provides a warm and quality meal for more than a thousand project beneficiaries in three large regions: Sarajevo, Bihać and Travnik. I would like to thank Sarajevski kiseljak, because this valuable donation will make life easier for old and sick members of our society who live on the edge of poverty. Additionally, the Association Pomozi.ba also helps other socially disadvantaged people throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina and we are really happy to have a partner in Sarajevski kiseljak who regularly supports socially responsible projects“, said Elvir Karalić, founder and president of the Association Pomozi.ba.
