OpenAir Festival 2.0

Kaskader Production is a youth association that wants to organize another short film festival in the City of Živinice. Through the project “OpenAir Festival 2.0” they continue to promote film art, and at the same time the festival will be based on other parts of art – music, painting and photography. The realization of the above project proposal has multiple meanings not only for young people involved in filmography, but for the entire community and citizens who want to enjoy the charms of the only short film festival in the City of Zivinice.

Share your STEM experience

Within this project proposal, the Association Mladi digitalci wants to organize a hackathon for the first time in the City of Živinice, i.e., a coding competition for students and high school students who already have some experience in programming and are ready to work on specific projects. Through the implementation of the project proposal, the contestants will build an application or internet platform during the three-day challenge that programming students can use to record their work-based experiences and share those learning experiences with other students and high school students via text, photos or videos. The main goal is to encourage young people to become more involved in the IT sector, and to provide them with the opportunity to meet representatives of the same sector.

Theater and festival tradition in Kalesija

Art Center ANKATA has been operating continuously in Kalesija through theatrical art since 2017. With this project proposal, they want to implement an activity titled “Children’s Theater Festival” and thus further strengthen the theater culture in the municipality of Kalesija. Through the two-day festival, young people will be introduced to guest drama schools and studios, and the host Art Center ANKATA. After the performance of plays, a round table will be held for all interested participants on the process of creating and performing theater plays.

Let’s revive volunteerism and activism

The youth association “Trik” within the project “Arts fest” wants to include and make children and youth in the municipality of Kalesija more active and to raise the culture and tradition in the municipality of Kalesija to a higher level. Through activities such as: guitar lessons, drawing and painting, acting, henna drawing, face painting, jewelry making and glass painting, they want to bring young people closer to art, and to present the learned skills at the final activity – “Arts fest”. The goal of these activities, in addition to restoring culture, is to pay attention to the mental health of children and youth that was disrupted during the pandemic. All these activities will aim to initiate and activate young people to work on themselves, but also to preserve activism and volunteerism, as well as the culture itself in the municipality of Kalesija.

Informal youth group from the area of ​​Hrasno Gornje, within the implementation of its project proposal, wants to offer content to young people who have not visited the local community Hrasno Gornje. “Summer house with a fireplace” is a project proposal that wants to offer young people the opportunity to gather safely throughout the year and offer a place where young people can socialize and at the same time develop ideas for further development of this place. The main challenge is lack of adequate infrastructure for the needs of young people, and the Group believes that the implementation of this project proposal will make the whole community more involved in solving youth problems and offer young people opportunities to live and work in Hrasno Gornje.

Eco corner for a better teaching moment

Informal youth group from the municipality of Lukavac, within the implementation of the project proposal “Eco corner for a better teaching moment”, wants to create an ecologically landscaped space for teaching about nature and encourage youth awareness of environmental issues and the impact of ecology on the community. Given the situation with the COVID-19 pandemic, Informal youth group wants to adapt the implementation of the curriculum to the current situation as much as possible, and at the same time to get young people closer with nature and all its benefits. Through the set goals, we want to give an example to the entire local community that activism can greatly contribute to the development of the entire community, and at the same time show young people that working for the community and community needs pays off.

Development of athletics in the salt city

The project of the athletic club “Royal” is based on the promotion of athletics, promotion of a healthy lifestyle, and the importance of gathering young people with the same or similar interests. Through the implementation of this project proposal, they aim to present athletics to children and young people in an interesting way, to develop the physical and spiritual health of their students, and to develop and encourage young people to understand and adopt ethical values ​​and protect the human environment through activities in nature. As such, the project will also contribute to the self-sustainability of the Association, and will additionally point out the possibility of improving the quality of life, strengthening self-confidence and increasing socialization through the training process.

I am strong

As the mental health of students is a growing concern, and as mental illness has serious consequences for academic success, productivity and social relations, the Association of Young Women GirlTHing came up with the idea to implement the project proposal “I am strong”. Within the project, it is planned to organize four group therapies with an experienced psychotherapist, who will help the students to speak, analyze and overcome all the obstacles they face in everyday life. Through the project proposal, the plan is to include mothers/guardians or fathers/guardians in one of the four group therapies because they want to draw attention to the support they need to provide to their daughters, in order to grow into capable and strong women. The official start of the project will be the “Online Booster Night” which, in addition to project participants, will be open to all young people from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina who want to hear stories and advice, and be inspired by speakers at the event.

Youth Zone Lipnica

Informal youth group Lipnica in the locality of Gornje Lipnice plans to turn a partially neglected and unusable public area into a Street Work Out park for the citizens. With the implementation of the project proposal “Youth Zone Lipnica” the informal youth group wants to offer space for outdoor training to all interested parties, which through exercise will develop physically and mentally, distracting them from the constant use of social networks, bringing them closer to socialization and socializing with peers and avoiding being indoors during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Imagination for a better world

Applying the scout motto “Be ready”, OI Krin decided to implement the project “Imagination for a better world” in a way that is acceptable to the current situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. With the implementation of the project proposal, it is planned to process 2 stories/songs/fairy tales in audio and video format which will enable all interested parties to be educated in a safe way and additionally culturally empowered. Raising awareness of the importance of maintaining mental health through processing 2 literary works and placing the resulting content on social media will be the focus of the project proposal, and the goal is to get as many young people interested in reading and research, to mentally empower them and of course encourage volunteering and activism.

Be the solution, not the pollution

Project “Be the solution, not the pollution!” is conceived as a project whose focus will be on ecology and the small steps that each of us can take every day to save planet Earth, the only home we have. Taking into account the fact that young people are neither familiar nor interested in ecology, and are not aware of how much power each individual has when it comes to reducing waste, reducing global warming and similar challenges. Through its activities, the project will directly involve young people who will learn how their actions in everyday situations can directly have an impact on a better future.

I hear your quietest story

With this project, Informal group Sinapsa wants to empower children and young people of lower socio-economic status in order to better cope with everyday challenges in their growth and development and to have the freedom to seek help from peers, parents and professionals. Through the general goal of the project proposal, they want to contribute to the preservation of mental health in children and youth in primary schools, and the goal is planned through cooperation with schools, education of children and youth, and education of volunteers who will conduct interactive workshops with young people.

Let’s build mental health

Social distancing and self-isolation have had unintended negative impacts on the lives of LGBTIQ people. The project “Let’s build mental health” aims to improve the mental health of LGBTIQ people in Tuzla Canton impaired due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They plan to achieve their goal through workshops on stress management, anxiety regulation, art therapy and gaming, in which they will provide LGBTIQ people with tools for building mental health. Through this project, they want to provide LGBTIQ people with a safe space in which they can be authentic in their identities, and educate them on ways to manage stress and anxiety.

Tabletop entertainment and culture

Through the implementation of the project proposal, Informal group Your Turn seeks to continue the successful promotion of tabletop culture that began in the previous period through numerous events, and further develop tabletop culture through cooperation and communication with similar communities in cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in the region. The plan of the informal group is to offer young people the opportunity to learn the basics of certain tabletop games in one place, and to further improve the position of the tabletop community with their participation, both in Tuzla and throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina. At the same time, the implementation of this project proposal gives young people the opportunity to get to know and develop their socio-social skills through play and fun. As the last phase of the project proposal, it is planned to register and open a youth association focused on strengthening the Tuzla tabletop community, and promoting the tabletop culture itself with similar events in other cities in the Tuzla Canton.

The presence of one member of the organization is required, while for informal groups, the presence of all three members of the project team is required.

All applicants can file complaints on the results of the commissions within 7 days from the date of publication of the results on the website of the Tuzla Community Foundation exclusively in writing to the e-mail initijative@fondacijatz.org. The complaint will be resolved by the Foundation’s management.
