On Monday, the Regional Chamber of Commerce of Banjaluka held a meeting of the members of the Gaming Committee that operates under the Council for Creative and Cultural Industries, the leadership of the Chamber and the director of the Audio-Visual Center of the Republic of Srpska, Anja Ilić, in order to prepare the regional conference “InterPlay v2.0.” which is scheduled for November 28, 2024 at the Chamber’s premises.
As it was pointed out on the website of the Chamber, one of the main topics of discussion was the organization of the aforementioned conference, which will bring together representatives of the governmental and non-governmental sectors, programmers, designers, managers and all other actors interested in the video game industry.
This conference aims to provide insight into the latest trends, technologies and business opportunities, as well as to open a discussion on the challenges facing the gaming sector in our region, the Chamber announced.
During the meeting, they also discussed the development of the video game production sector in the Republic of Srpska, its potential, but also the missing legislation that is necessary to encourage creative industries.
Anja Ilić stressed the importance of the cooperation of all actors in order to create favorable conditions for the growth and development of this sector.
All interested parties are invited to attend the “InterPlay v2.0” conference, where they will have the opportunity to hear inspiring speeches from industry experts, exchange ideas and connect with other professionals. It is expected that the conference will contribute to the creation of a platform for the further development of the gaming industry in the Republic of Srpska and beyond.
