The team of the Radnički univerzitet platform, supported by the Association Front Slobode, is announcing a public call for proposing and implementing a group project, i.e., several months of collaborative interventions by young activists in the local community on green transformation and social justice, i.e., green transition and social care. The call is open to all interested young people aged 16 to 35 living in Tuzla and Tuzla Canton, and applications must be in groups of 3 to 5 people.
WHO?
Selected groups of 3 to 5 young activists will be supported through financial, program, mentoring and technical assistance to implement a range of activities in the field of green growth and social care in their local community (interventions, actions, multimedia works of various genres and formats, forums, campaigns, etc.). Selected participants are expected to go through a process of mentoring and educational, research and multimedia support in order to empower and formulate group ideas into project activities that will then be implemented in the local community. The planned training will take place during July, August and September through a series of meetings to be held online or live, depending on the epidemiological situation caused by the COVID-19 epidemic. After this phase and specifying the action plan for each collaborative intervention, from October to March 2022, the implementation of specific activities is planned with mentoring, financial and program support.
HOW?
To apply for the call, you need to form a group of three to five young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina who will present an idea on the topic of green growth and social care that they plan to implement in their local community. You need to present this idea to us and show why it is important for your local community.
WHY?
Improving the society of Bosnia and Herzegovina through social activism aims to implement new platforms for action in the field of green growth through collaborative interventions in the community. Strengthening human, infrastructural and institutional capacities is needed to make the turn to green growth while focusing on social care within the community. Collaborative interventions ultimately aim to change the paradigm in the notion of social development, and the issues of work, energy and growth in the local community.
The call is open until Wednesday, July 14, 2021, and you need to fill out a simple online questionnaire (Google form document) that contains short descriptions of the idea, team information, and similar information.
Applications should be submitted by completing the questionnaire available at the following link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSczBN7B1ptjPA25Vl0AHKH5f6bYUdnEZPWEl6xaYtv73Nn4iA/viewform?vc=0&c=0&w=1&f
