SUPPORT FOR INTEGRATION/INCLUSION OF DOMESTIC, TRADITIONAL PRODUCTS (FOOD PRODUCTS, HANDICRAFTS AND SOUVENIRS) IN THE TOURIST OFFER ALONG THE TRAILS AT DINARICA IN BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA
The call for project proposals is one of the activities within the second phase of the Via Dinarica project, which is implemented and co-financed by the United Nations Development Program in Bosnia and Herzegovina (UNDP BiH), with financial support from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID BiH) and the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS). The second phase of this project is implemented in cooperation with domestic partners – the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism, the Ministry of Trade and Tourism of Republika Srpska, local authorities, NGOs and private sector active in tourism. The Via Dinarica initiative aims to promote significant natural and cultural resources in the Western Balkans, being active in adventurous activities of nature lovers from around the world to preserve mountain areas, culture and landscapes that are a natural oasis in Europe.
The Public call for co-financing financed by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID BiH) and the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) aims to contribute to the improvement of economic opportunities and living standards in Dinarica through the integration of domestic products into tourism.
In accordance with the above, the Public call for project proposals relates to the following priority areas:
Priority area 1:
Strengthening the process of production and processing of products in order to integrate/include domestic, traditional products in the tourist offer along the Via Dinarica trail within the following local government units: Bosanski Petrovac, Center Sarajevo, Gacko, Jablanica, Kalinovik, Konjic, Mostar, Mrkonjić Grad, Posušje, Prijedor, Prozor-Rama, Ravno, Rudo, Sokolac, Stolac, Teslić, Tomislavgrad and Trebinje.
Priority area 2:
Strengthening the points of sale in order to integrate / include domestic, traditional products in the tourist offer along the Via Dinarica trail within the following local self-government units is: Konjic, Mostar, Prijedor, Sarajevo and Trebinje.
The applicant can submit a maximum of one project proposal in each priority area of this Public call.
If the applicant submits more than one project proposal per priority area, no project proposal will be considered.
Applicants for Priority area 1 should read the detailed information in section 2.1 of the Guidelines.
Applicants for Priority area 2 should read the detailed information in section 2.2 of the Guidelines.
All interested and qualified applicants, who wish to apply, are invited to submit their project proposals, including all supporting documentation, no later than Wednesday, April 7, 2021 until 16:00h. All applications should be sent exclusively to the following address:

All additional questions regarding this Call can be submitted exclusively by e-mail, no later than 7 days before the deadline for submission of applications, with a clearly indicated name of the call in the subject of the message, to the following e-mail address: registry.ba@undp.org. Please cleary indicate that the questions refer to the Via Dinarica project.
Immediately after the announcement of the Public call, the Via Dinarica project will organize an info session during which all details of the Public call will be presented and the conditions and criteria will be clarified. In addition, potential applicants will have the opportunity to ask questions regarding the Public call.
Info days for the Public call will be held according to the following schedule:
- First info session: Wednesday March 24, 2021 at 10.00h,
- Second info session: Friday March 26, 2021 at 10.00h.
Info sessions will be held online via Zoom.

- The first info session, which will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 10.00 am, no later than Tuesday, March 23, 2021 (until 12.00).
- The second info session, which will be held on Friday, March 26, 2021 at 10.00 am, no later than Thursday, March 25, 2021 (until 12.00).
After the deadline for the info sessions applications, the registered persons will receive a link to join the video conference at the specified e-mail address.
