After significant funds have been invested in the past years for the reconstruction of school buildings in Kakanj, new investments are planned.
Additional 700,000 BAM has been set aside for Kakanj schools. Public calls have been published for the selection of contractors for the reconstruction of 20 school buildings in Zenica-Doboj Canton.
Through the project “Energy efficiency in schools”, 484,636 BAM will be allocated for the Mixed High School Kakanj.
After the replacement of window installations, installation of the thermal facade and replacement of the gutters was performed on the building of the Gymnasium “Muhsin Rizvić”, additional 100,000 BAM is planned for the replacement of the roof.
For the purpose of reconstruction of the building of the elementary school “Rešad Kadić” 152,530 BAM will be allocated.
The Federal Ministry of Physical Planning has announced public calls for the selection of contractors for the reconstruction of 20 school buildings in the Zenica-Doboj Canton within the Energy Efficiency in BiH project.
The project is implemented by the Project Implementation Unit (PUI) of the Federal Ministry of Physical Planning and the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Zenica-Doboj Canton.
“Professors and students will have better conditions for the teaching process, and we will invest the savings in the further development of higher education,” said Prime Minister Bašić.
Preparatory activities are ongoing, which will result in investments in several other Kakanj school buildings.
