We are pleased to invite you to participate in the presentation of the USAID Civil Society Sustainability Index (CSO) for 2020 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at the Center for Civil Society Promotion (CPCD), Marko Marulića 2/III (Unipromet building near Mercator), starting at 11:00 hrs. Due to the limited number of participants in the Center, online participation will also be provided.
CPCD, as a partner organization for Bosnia and Herzegovina, has prepared the CSOSI for 2020, which is a key analytical tool for measuring the progress of the civil sector at the regional level, in Central and Eastern Europe and the Eurasian region (E&E). The index tracks civil sector progress in seventy-five countries over the past twenty-four years. The index explores the overall environment for civil society, focusing on the NGO legal environment, organizational capacity, financial sustainability, advocacy, service delivery, infrastructure and public image. The Index was developed by the United States Agency for International Development in partnership with local organizations in each of the countries in which the Index is evaluated.
The results of previous reports have already served civil society organizations in Bosnia and Herzegovina as a basis for designing and conducting several different information and advocacy campaigns aimed at improving the environment for the development of civil society in our country.
The planned time for the presentation of the CSO Sustainability Index for 2020 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, discussion and comments is 60 minutes.
We kindly ask you to confirm your presence HERE, no later than September 27, 2021.
