In the building of the municipality of Posušje, the mayor of the municipality, Ante Begić, signed a contract on the procurement of works with the director of Okel-Invest doo, Jerko Leka, called “Improving the availability of social services through the construction of the facility, phase I”, which starts with the implementation of the first phase of the construction of the educational-rehabilitation center for children and youth with developmental disabilities.

As a reminder, in March 2024, the Municipality of Posušje submitted a project application to the public call for applications for projects supporting Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the purpose of social development of the local community in 2024 to the Ministry of Labour, Pension System, Family and Social Policy of the Republic of Croatia, which is also approved.

On this occasion, Mayor Begić also thanked the Ministry and the Government of the Republic of Croatia for continuing to support the strategic projects of the municipality of Posušje in this way.

The construction of this educational and rehabilitation center will contribute to better quality care for the most vulnerable groups.
