POSITIVE STORY FROM THE BUSINESS INCUBATOR ZENICA – GREEN PACK: “WE WANT TO BECOME A LEADER IN THE CARDBOARD PACKAGING PRODUCTION!”
Today is a great day in which we present you another positive story from the Business Incubator Zenica. ZEDA Agency is proud to have the opportunity to present to the public its users who daily show entrepreneurial spirit, clear goals and visible progress.
If you have not heard of the Business Incubator Zenica, it is important to know that the activities for its establishment began in 2004, that it got its first tenants in 2005, that its owner and founder is the City of Zenica, manager of ZEDA Agency. At the moment, there are 42 companies operating in the Incubator, and in the 16 years of the Incubator’s existence, more than 150 companies have gone through the incubation process.
Why do start-up entrepreneurs decide to do business in an Incubator? The reason for this is simple, every start is difficult and the steps are unstable, so to strengthen its steps, the Incubator offers several significant benefits, from subsidized rent, consulting assistance, great location and networking with other incubator tenants but also partnerships with companies in the Business Zone, through information on incentive opportunities, applying for grant funds intended for the development of those who have just started, presentations and education on various current topics relevant to business to assistance in applying for these funds, are just some of the benefits those who are not alone but who are part of the Zenica Business Incubator team.
Part of the Incubator team is Green pack d.o.o. Zenica, a company that produces cardboard packaging, and whose head is Amelina Tufekčić (42).
Green pack d.o.o. Zenica produces cardboard packaging from three-layer and five-layer cardboard. They make boxes of different sizes, from transport boxes to jumbo boxes for furniture to those small dimensions for screw goods.
– “Our advantage is that we are an innovation in this city. We listen to customer requests and we are better at something every day. We researched our competition, so we made their shortcomings our advantages, which does not mean that we do not have to work on improvement every day because you can always work better”- said Amelina, preschool teacher with work experience in the profession and in various positions in the real sector, which decided to establish a company and take the first business steps in the Business Incubator Zenica for several reasons:
– “The low price of business premises is of great importance. The employees of the ZEDA Agency are our support for every new situation for which we do not know the solution, and the proximity of other businesspersons who can become our customers (some already are), cooperation, contacts, networking, proximity to the city is very important”- said Amelina and announced the introduction of 100% environmentally friendly packaging.
– “My aspiration is for this company to succeed and for our packaging to be recognizable by its quality.” The production of 100% environmentally friendly packaging is our strategic goal. Our city does not have a single company that produces cardboard packaging, so I am proud of this innovation that we have brought to our city.
