Sarajevo, October 11, 2021

Yesterday, at the Sarajevo Book Fair, the publishing house Lijepa riječ presented ten books from the field of Contemporary Poetry, including the book Serious Conversations by the co-founder of the Association for Culture Kontrast, Umihana Krličević Omerović.

The reviewer dr. sc. Melida Travančić, who on this occasion said that Serious Conversations emotionally shook the confession within a world that is constantly collapsing and deforming. In this way, the poet, conditionally speaking, opens the door of her life and introduces herself to it, announcing her intimate space, and thus becomes public, talks about herself, about the people closest to her, about travel, death, God, about everything that surrounds and captures her attention. The pages are carefully printed, the poems strongly connected so that a coherent and uniform whole is built at the level of the whole book.

The book Serious Conversations was published in 2020, and is supported by the FBiH Publishing Foundation.
