One million KM for tourism development in USK: Incentives for small entrepreneurs

The Government of the Una-Sana Canton adopted yesterday the proposal of the Ministry of Economy in the form of the Tourism Development Incentive Program for 2024.

The Government of Una-Sana Canton adopted yesterday the proposal of the Ministry of Economy in the form of the Tourism Development Incentive Program for the year 2024, which established measures and activities aimed at improving tourism and hospitality activities, as well as supporting the development of small businesses in this sector.

USK Economy Minister Armin Kardašević emphasized that the funds are intended for small business entities, natural persons and legal entities, which deal with tourist and catering services.

“One million convertible marks is planned for this program in the budget of the Ministry of Economy, and the funds will be allocated through a public call, in accordance with the adopted Program for spending funds for subsidies to companies and entrepreneurs in the field of tourism,”  said Kardašević.

Incentive measures include the development of tourist products, improvement of the tourist offer, increase in employment, and strengthening of the quality and competitiveness of the small economy. Special emphasis was placed on increasing the number of small business entities and the inclusion of women, young people and people with disabilities in the tourism and hospitality industry.
