On the occasion of the celebration of the Day of the Municipality of Novo Sarajevo, in the Memorial Center Trg herojja, the distribution of scholarships was organized for children without both parents from the territory of the municipality of Novo Sarajevo, who are in regular schooling, and on the records of the Center for Social Work – Social Protection Services of Novo Sarajevo and competent municipal service.
This year, for the school year 2023/2024. 33 children without both parents received the municipal scholarship, which was presented to them by the mayor of the Municipality of Novo Sarajevo, dr. Hasan Tanović and the Chairperson of the Municipal Council, Danijela Šahat.
The scholarships are awarded for a period of 12 months, and the scholarship recipients expressed their gratitude to the Municipality and the mayor for continuously taking care of their education and upbringing.
