Today, in the premises of the Municipality of Novo Sarajevo, the Mayor Hasan Tanović and the Executive Director of the IMPKAT Foundation Senajid Đozo signed a partnership agreement within the implementation of the project “Impact incubator of business ideas 2021”.
The project includes the provision of support to entrepreneurship and the development of the entrepreneurial environment in order to stimulate potential entrepreneurs to start business ventures in the Municipality of Novo Sarajevo.
The project will include an entrepreneurial training program for 25 participants from the area of Novo Sarajevo, as well as professional, mentoring and non-refundable financial support of 5,000.00 BAM each for five new business ventures.
Mayor Hasan Tanović pointed out that the implementation of this project and joining of financial resources will provide concrete support to entrepreneurs in starting individual business ventures, through all stages of business development, including the professional and financial component.
The target groups of the program are the unemployed, employees who want to start their own business, civil society organizations interested in engaging in social entrepreneurship and owners of existing businesses registered within 12 months of the publishing of the public call interested in developing entrepreneurial skills and business ideas on business expansion.
The total value of the project is 45,000.00 BAM, of which the Municipality of Novo Sarajevo within the Program of active employment policy and improvement of the business environment co-finances with funds in the amount of 20,000.00 BAM.
The Impact incubator of business ideas is being implemented with the support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, and the implementation of the Program is planned from May 2021 to March 2022.
Mayor Tanović pointed out that the Municipality of Novo Sarajevo, by supporting this project, became one of the first local communities being part of this important project.
