The Municipality of Bosanska Krupa has published a call for applications for a conceptual architectural-urban and landscape design of public areas in 511. slavne brdske brigade street and Alija Izetbegović square in Bosanska Krupa. Money prizes in the amount of 2,000, 1,200 and 800 BAM for the authors of the three best designs, which will be evaluated by an expert commission, will be awarded.
The call was published in order to come up with the highest quality conceptual solution that will create a comfortable space for all users in terms of space, ambience, visual and functional sense.
“These are the busiest areas, which are located in the inner city and connected to the fortress “Pset”, pedestrian zone with wooden bridges. It represents a special ambient challenge for design and content. The subject area represents an inevitable visit both for the citizens of Bosanska Krupa and for tourists visiting Bosanska Krupa. Due to the importance of the space that is the subject of the call, we expect that the most competent experts in the field of spatial and urban planning will participate, showing their knowledge and abilities“, says the Mayor of Bosanska Krupa Armin Halitović.
All interested legal and natural persons who have education in the field of architecture, urbanism, fine and applied arts can apply for the call. In addition to individuals, teams can also apply, provided that at least one member has an academic degree in architecture. All applications are submitted under a code.
The submitted applications will be evaluated by the expert commission in accordance with the established criteria, such as originality and innovation of the idea; spatial harmonization with the existing environment; aesthetic and design solutions; feasibility of the proposed design and rationality and economy of the design (harmonization of creative and commercial aspects).
