Members of the Armed Forces of BiH are still on the ground today: They help in Donja Jablanica, Konjic, Fojnica and Kiseljak

On the fifth day since the devastating floods in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, were actively engaged in helping the population and civilian structures of the government to remove the consequences of the disaster.

The engineering units of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina operate with manpower and heavy machinery  to clear the M-17 road and houses in Donja Jablanica,  as well as rehabilitate road communications and connect the cut-off settlements of Kralupi and Seonice in the Konjic region.

In addition to engineering, the Armed Forces of BiH are also engaged in cleaning damaged buildings and transporting waste material in the municipalities  of Fojnica and Kiseljak.

As before, the helicopter capacities and other resources of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina are on standby, ready to engage when called upon by civil authorities.
