SARAJEVO – The musical performance “At the Ballet” will be performed on the occasion of the Mediterranean Day in BiH, at the Multimedia Culture Center CZK on November 28 at 8 p.m.
Uniting in an expression of unity and connection with the aim of promoting the common identity and heritage of 43 Mediterranean countries, and strengthening the unique momentum for accepting the diversity of regions, promoting intercultural exchange and fostering mutual understanding, every year the Anna Lindh Foundation specially selects musical groups from 43 Mediterranean countries, which musically perform in their countries on the same day.
“Bosnia and Herzegovina will be represented for the second year in a row by iMTM Sarajevo with the new musical performance “At the Ballet”, performed by BiH. artists including Hana Zrno, Melisa Hajrulahović Tomić, Irma Mulić, Ana Marija Tomić and Alma Ferović Fazlić, as well as the musical director of the concert and pianist and conductor Bakir Samardžić. The program includes songs from popular musicals that are performed in English,” the organizers said in a press release.
The theme of this year’s event is the sounds that connect the Mediterranean, and this one-hour musical journey, through the interactive element of the performance, will enable attendees to have a short conversation with the performers and exchange opinions on current daily topics in the world.
Entrance to the musical performance, which was also supported by the Municipality of Stari Grad, is free, and young artists and lovers of culture and art are especially invited.
