On May 4th, the General Manager of m:tel Jelena Trivan visited the Branko Radicevic Elementary School in Banja Luka, and on that occasion, she presented a gift from m:tel to this school – TV sets needed for better teaching and learning.
“There is no successful state that does not invest in education, that is why we invest in scholarships, schooling, equipping schools. We must do everything to make people feel good, decent school conditions for children, to stay here. The fact that this school is enrolling nine classes this year, in a situation when we are facing a drop in the birth rate, is the most beautiful and most important news for me. That is why I am even more pleased that we chose this school to help it as a company”, said Jelena Trivan.
During this visit, together with colleagues from the company, she visited the school premises, and the director of this school, Sinisa Rendic, explained that they turned to m:tel for help in purchasing a TV precisely because it is known as a company that supports education in every possible way.
“Branko Radicevic Elementary School was founded more than 60 years ago. At the same time, it is a school with the biggest number of students in Republika Srpska. It has recently been renovated and expanded with eight new classrooms that have greatly facilitated the work and learning of more than 1,850 students and 75 classes as many as the school has. We are grateful to the General Manager Trivan and m:tel for helping us to equip classrooms with TVs, which enable more adequate teaching of all subjects”, said Sinisa Rendic and added that he is proud of the students of this school who achieve significant results every year in competitions in all subjects, and that these TVs will provide stimulating conditions for students’ work and learning.
As good hosts, grateful for the support they received from the m:tel company, the school provided a gift to the General Manager Trivan. Namely, Anastasia Visekruna, a 9th grade student at this school, presented her with her artwork on the topic of friendship.
“This is the most beautiful gift I could receive, it’s invaluable, because a pure child’s heart painted it”, said Jelena Trivan, thanking the students, as well as the teachers and the principal of this school.
