Look for a job – the Federal Ministry of Labor announces the largest job fair on December 10 and 11 in Sarajevo

The Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, in cooperation with partners, is organizing the largest and most comprehensive “Job Fair – Look at your job”, which will be held on December 10 and 11, 2024 at the Hills Hotel in Sarajevo.

More than 100 companies will participate in the fair  , and the unemployed will have the opportunity to apply for more than 3,000 jobs throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.

One of the key challenges facing Bosnia and Herzegovina is the outflow of qualified labor, especially young and educated people. This fair represents a step forward in the Ministry’s efforts to create an environment in which young people and other vulnerable categories, such as people with disabilities and women, will have the opportunity to build their careers in their homeland.

Keeping young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina is not only an economic priority, but also an act of patriotism, says Federal Minister of Labor and Social Policy Adnan Delić.

– Our goal is to create an environment where young people see the opportunity to stay and develop their careers here, contributing to the development of our country. No country, especially a small one like ours, can afford to lose educated young people. Through this fair, as well as our other projects and activities, we show our determination and dedication to sustainable employment and stopping the departure of the workforce – said Delić, reports the portal  biznis.ba.

The fair as an opportunity for direct contact with employers

The Job Fair 2024 includes a platform for direct contact between job seekers and employers, which aims to shorten the selection process and enable faster access to employment.

In addition, through free registration, all interested citizens will have the opportunity to apply for participation in the fair, where workshops and panel discussions will be organized during this two-day event.

With the support of the Federal Employment Agency, the Fund for Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities, and UN WOMEN, this fair sets standards for inclusive and sustainable employment in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Online application “Watch your business”

All Fair visitors will have the opportunity to apply for jobs through the web application, which will be available at the beginning of November, and the option to schedule interviews with employers directly.

Through workshops and discussions, the goal is to motivate visitors to the fair, who are interested in improving their professional and personal skills, which will further strengthen their position on the labor market.
