The amount paid goes to the citizens of the flooded areas, and the medal continues to spread humanity.
As promised, the best BiH swimmer Lana Pudar personally presented her bronze medal to representatives of the Mozzart company, who offered the highest sum of 7,500 KM for this medal at the humanitarian auction of the Pomozi.ba Association. All proceeds from this noble action, according to Lana’s wishes, will go to the citizens of the Federation of BiH who were affected by the catastrophic floods. But this is not the end of the journey of the bronze medal that Lana brought from the 2021 World Championships in Abu Dhabi, as it continues to circulate in our country as the “Humanity Medal”.
“I was thinking about how I could help people affected by the floods and in agreement with my coach, we came up with the idea that this medal could be it. This is my first senior medal and it means a lot to me, but I think that this way we are creating a nice story and drawing attention to people who need help, and that this is a role model for people in BiH to give what they have and help people who need it most,” said Lana.
She thanked the Pomozi.ba Association for helping her realize this idea, as well as the Mozzart company for offering the largest amount of money and, as she says, helping her help others. Her gesture delighted and moved both numerous citizens across our country and the leadership of the Pomozi.ba Association.
“First of all, I would like to thank our Lana. It is a truly beautiful story that will mean a lot to those who lost everything in this tragedy. There is also the Mozzart company, our long-time partner, whom we thank for all these years of support because they were always there to step in and help when it was most difficult,” said Elvir Karalić, founder and president of the Pomozi.ba Association.
The Mozzart company has been cooperating with these humanitarians for years through numerous noble actions, and with Lana Pudar for two years through the “Talent Scholarship” campaign, within which she is their most successful scholarship recipient. Despite this, they fought equally with numerous citizens and companies at the humanitarian auction for the bronze medal.
“We would like to emphasize that the medals of our young athletes throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina are by no means priceless, but they have great value. The value of this medal has been translated into humanity and we are glad that we managed to win this auction to help Lana help others, that is, to all together, through the Pomozi.ba Association, help vulnerable citizens. In agreement with Lana, her team and humanitarians from Pomozi.ba, we decided to call this medal the “Humanity Medal” from today,” said Marija Ranilović, Corporate Communications Manager of Mozzart.
The company added that the “Humanity Medal” will continue to travel throughout our country in the coming period, creating a “Mozart’s Bronze Circle of the Humanity Medal” that will only be able to enter those who, like our and the world’s Lana Pudar, show that they have a heart of gold.
How this great team will realize this, the citizens of BiH will only be able to find out if they continue to follow all the actions and announcements of the Pomozi.ba Association, as well as the socially responsible company Mozzart, in the coming period.
