Kurban brings joy and hope to millions of hungry people around the world.
We share the true joy of Eid al-Adha with those in need.
This year, Islamic Relief is again providing an opportunity to all who are able and who want to fulfill their religious duty during Eid al-Adha, to do so in one of the 34 poorest countries around the world.
Payments for kurban will be received in the period from May 25, 2022 – July 08, 2022.
Every day 120 children in Yemen die of hunger. Approximately every 12 minutes a child dies due to malnutrition!
At this moment, there are around 161 million hungry people in the world. Hunger is one of the biggest problems today.
The majority of malnourished people and children live in Africa, where the largest increase in the number of hungry people is happening right now, as well as in Asia and Latin America.
These countries are either at war or are affected by extreme weather conditions, which lead to droughts or floods.
In the last year, almost every third inhabitant of the planet did not have safe access to a sufficient amount of food, and among them are millions of children.
Kurban is an opportunity to do something to change this horrifying statistic.
Kurban brings joy and hope to children and the hungry around the world.
Note: Islamic Relief procures and realizes kurban in each of the mentioned countries, so the prices are a reflection of the economic standard and market prices in those countries.
Payments for kurban can be made until July 8, 2022.
Payments can be made in the following ways:
- *In person at the offices of Islamic Relief Worldwide in Sarajevo at Jukiceva 75 and Tuzla at the address Safet Bega Basagic 39.
- Bank account of the organization
- Online via a link on the organization’s website
- During office hours in Sarajevo and Tuzla from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m
- The deadline for payment the 2022 kurban in person at the offices is July 8, 2022 by 3:00 p.m.!
- Payments in the offices will also be accepted on weekends in the period from 09:00 to 15:00 on the following dates: June 18, 19, 25, 26, July 02 and 03.
- In the period from June 20 until July 07 the offices will accept kurban payments until 5 p.m
