Parents Association “Iskra” in cooperation with UG “Viartis”, in the period from November 13 to 15, in Kaća Milanovića, organizes a humanitarian sales exhibition of art works “Rođendanske Iskra”, to help children suffering from cancer.
The exhibition opening will be held on December 13th at 6:00 PM, and visitors will be able to view and purchase the exhibited works on the opening night as well as on Saturday, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
-The exhibition will feature the works of our children who are currently being treated for cancer, children who have experienced treatment for malignant diseases in childhood, and their healthy peers as a form of peer support. More than 19 artists who donated their work also provided support to our children. The paintings were created at an art workshop held to mark the 10th anniversary of the Iskra Parents’ Association – the statement said.
They also emphasize that visitors will be able to purchase the exhibited works of art, and the goal of the sale is to raise funds for the functioning of the “Iskra” Parents’ Association, and therefore the Parents’ House, which houses children undergoing cancer treatment and their parents.
-We invite everyone to join us in the beautiful ambiance of the Milanović House, view the exhibition, purchase a work of art if they wish, or donate funds and thus provide selfless support to our little ones who, together with their parents, are facing the most difficult moments in their fight for life. We hope that you will join us in our efforts to create a more beautiful world for our children – the statement said.
