The Youth Council of the Federation of BiH, the Youth Council of the Republika Srpska and the Youth Council of the Brčko District of BiH offer you the opportunity to be part of one-day info sessions and to find out more about your rights through socializing and learning. Get to know your rights today, and create a community to your liking tomorrow, because fakat je vakat za mlade/it is time for young people!
During the event you will have the opportunity to learn more about:
- Legal solutions in the field of youth and youth organization
- Organization and functioning of youth organizations and umbrella bodies of youth in BiH
- How to be actively involved in decision-making processes
- How to access information of public interest
The call is intended for:
- Young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina (from 15 to 30 years of age)
- Representatives of local youth organizations
- Representatives of local councils and youth councils
Umbrella youth organizations are organizing a series of info sessions, and the next event of this type will be organized in Travnik, on May 22, 2021.
These are regional events, and priority will be given to the selection of candidates from the following municipalities/cities: Čelinac, Istočni Drvar, Mrkonjić Grad, Kneževo, Kotor Varoš, Šipovo, Jezero, Kupres, Bugojno, Busovača, Dobretići, Donji Vakuf, Fojnica, Gornji Vakuf, Jajce, Kiseljak, Kreševo, Novi Travnik, Travnik, Zenica, Vitez, Usora, Hadžići, Ilidža, Ilijaš, Vogošća, Bosansko Grahovo, Drvar, Glamoč, Kupres, Livno and Tomislavgrad.
The call for applications remains open until May 20, 2021, 15:59h. Information about the selected participants will be announced the day after. Please apply using the form available at the following LINK.
The info session starts at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 22, and we expect it will end at 4:30 pm on the same day.
Selected candidates will be informed about the selection, and the technical details regarding the info session (exact location of accommodation and event, agenda, and other technical information)
Travel, accommodation and food costs are covered by the organizers.
This is the third of four regional info sessions. The first info session was held in Brčko on April 24, the second is scheduled for Prijedor on May 16, and additional info session is planned for June 19, 2021. in Čapljina.
