PROJECT DESIGNER (M-F)
You see an error in the drawing (project) from half a kilometer away. You know the difference between urgent and important. You have projects you like and dislike, but you are most driven by problem solving. You live with the “it’s not good enough until it’s excellent or up to standard”. You want to work and progress, not stand still. You are not afraid of work, and you are even less afraid of asking colleagues for advice. It is not a problem for you to share what you know with others and you are not annoyed by those 100 questions from less experienced colleagues. You see yourself as a person of action, not philosophy. You have at least a few projects that you are proud of.
As a Project Designer at Kinetic, this awaits you:
- 3D design and production drawings in SolidWorks
- Performing strength analyzes using Ansys and analytical calculations in PTC Mathcad
- Preparation of technical documentation, reports of engineering calculations and analyses
- Researching new solutions to improve performance, reliability or manufacturability Monitoring and testing of products and prototype systems in the field and outside Europe
- International clients (work and communication in English)
- 1-2 times a year support during the installation of the pilot system in the field (Europe and Asia)
We fall off our chairs if you say yes already:
- You have e.g. 2 years of experience in the development of machine systems and industrial equipment
- You also have experience in challenging sectors such as offshore, mining or other challenging sectors is an advantage
- You can’t see yourself in any other branch than mechanical engineering and you like to explore different aspects of mechanical engineering and construction
- You know materials, hydraulic systems and structural optimizations
- You have experience in managing projects through planning, designing, manufacturing and implementing industrial equipment
- By profession, you are a graduate engineer (B.Sc.) or a master’s degree (M.Sc.) in mechanical engineering or related disciplines, but the degree does not reflect even 5% of your interests and love for mechanical engineering
Technical details:
- Working hours 07:30 – 16:00
- Period of adaptation to software (SolidWorks, etc.) with professional training and mentoring
- Work at the location of the office in Sarajevo or the possibility of remote work with occasional visits to the main office
