The call for volunteers for the 19th edition of Pravo Ljudski Film Festival, which will be held this year from September 25 to 30, is open.
“We invite people over the age of 16, who love film art, socializing, working in a team and want to gain new knowledge, skills and experience, to join us in organizing the festival,” said the organizers.
During PLJ19, volunteers will have the opportunity to work on:
- Promotion of the festival, which includes distribution of promotional material, work at festival locations and informing the festival audience;
- They work with the guests of the festival – welcoming foreign directors and providing assistance, if they need it during their stay;
- Furnishing the space, which includes arranging the interior in which the festival activities will be held, setting up equipment, signs and the like;
- Festival logistics, which includes support for the organizational team, coordination of festival events, locations and the work of other volunteers.
The distribution of tasks will be made in accordance with your skills and preferences, and volunteers will have the opportunity to engage in other fields in which they want to gain knowledge and experience.
PLJFF provides you with refreshments and access to all screenings and accompanying events, as well as socializing with guests. All volunteers who will be part of the 19th Pravo Ljudski Film Festival will be awarded a certificate of volunteering.
Please note that volunteering at the Pravo Ljudski Film Festival does not imply monetary compensation. Pravo Ljudski is also unable to cover the costs of travel and accommodation in Sarajevo.
Applications should be sent no later than September 13 to the email address apliciram@pravoljudski.org. After the competition closes, Pravo Ljudski will organize a mandatory preparatory meeting for volunteers.
