What is the Summer Camp for Young Leaders?
- A three-day educational event with 15 ambitious young people (18-25 years old), from different parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who want to improve their leadership skills and become a local partner of the Foundation in various projects in the coming period, through which they will gain practical experience and expand their horizons and gain valuable knowledge. which will be of use to them both in their personal and professional lives.
Who are the ideal candidates for Camp?
- Young people from 18 to 25 years old
- Citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Ambitious and eager for knowledge and improvement of leadership skills
- Motivated to cooperate long-term with the Foundation on various projects
- Active on social networks
- Who want to initiate positive changes in society through their work
Where and when?
- The summer camp will be held in Jahorina from August 24 to 26, 2023. years
Costs:
- For all selected participants, the organizer bears the costs of transportation to Sarajevo, organized van to Jahorina and back, costs of hotel accommodation, all meals, refreshments and program.
Method of application:
- All interested candidates should apply via a short questionnaire at this link no later than Sunday, August 13. until 17:00.
- Selected participants will be contacted on August 15. and informed about the final program, transportation and other logistical matters.
- This is an individual scholarship and the criteria is a mixed team of participants, with different experiences and characteristics, who come from various communities, so we do not encourage you to apply in pairs or groups, but expect to be with 15 new colleagues that you will meet at the camp.
About the organizer:
- The German political foundation Hanns Seidel aims to support the improvement of democratic processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a special focus on supporting the development of young people’s competences, in order to develop critical thinking and actively participate in creating a better future for themselves.
- The Camp’s partner is the Social Innovation Incubator MUNJA – one of the leading organizations for youth empowerment in BiH, which has been operating for more than 20 years in BiH.
