Mentors and artists imparted knowledge about urban art, street art techniques, improvement of artistic style and career, portfolio building
Organized by the Rezon Association and the Telemach Foundation, the second SAFMo mini-academy was successfully completed in Mostar. During the past month, mentors and artists Lunar, Ljubomir Todorović, Atelje Šoln and Jana Danilović, imparted knowledge about urban art, street art techniques, improvement of artistic style and career, portfolio building, self-confidence and effective teamwork to the participants of the Academy.
Of the 25 young artists who attended this year’s SAFMo mini academy, the best six, of which three are from BiH and three from abroad, will participate in the Telemach Masterclass program during the Street Arts Festival Mostar, which will be led by the world-renowned artist – L7Matrix from Brazil. The arrival of this artist is eagerly awaited at the Street Arts Festival, given his extraordinary ability to transform walls into visual spectacles, combining colorful birds, ethereal spectra and portraits into a unique artistic entity.
– SAFMo Mini Academy this year successfully gathered young talents and enabled them to be introduced to the world of street art, graffiti, murals and small interventions. The online phase provided a thorough understanding of the techniques and challenges in the field, while the weekly assignments allowed participants to excel and win a place on the Telemach Masterclass program. Thanks to the partnership with the Telemach Foundation, we had the opportunity to provide such valuable training and international cooperation. We are looking forward to the fact that L7Matrix will bring its unique techniques and inspiration to this year’s Street Arts Festival Mostar, thanks to which our participants will be able to further develop their artistic skills – said Sabina Maslo, representative of the Rezon Association.
