The city headquarters of civil protection Konjic manages the activities of assistance and care for the vulnerable population, according to the Operational Center of Civil Protection of HNŽ on Wednesday. Regional road R-437 from Ostrošac to Dusina is still impassable and in many places blocked or not there at all.
Also, during the day, the work on clearing the ruins in Donja Jablanica continued, with the involvement of machinery and volunteers. Work continued on the development of the site for setting up a container settlement to house the families of the victims.
There are 30 soldiers of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the ground in Donja Jablanica, who are helping the local population in remediating the consequences of the floods.
In addition, work continued on the clearing of road communications and facilities in: Zlata, Mirka, Čehari, Čivelje and the lakeside villages and on the construction of the road for the city garbage dump in Zakom, as well as in other areas affected by floods.
The main roads M-17, M-17-5 and M-16-2 are maintained by the FBiH Road Directorate with its design and construction companies.
Intensive work is being done on training for traffic on the main road M-17-5 Jablanica-Blidinje. Expert teams visit the field and assess the damage and give recommendations for their elimination.
Food and medicine are being delivered to the residents of the municipality, according to a press release from the Operational Center of Civil Protection of HNŽ.
