At the initiative of friends and family friends of Sami Čamdžić who passed away, the Pomozi.ba Association is establishing a permanent fund “Happy Childhood Fund Sami Čamdžić”. In the meaningless in which we find ourselves, we try to find a drop of meaning and turn it into a sea by which Sami continues to connect us with goodness – the goodness that conquers meaningless.
Sami has touched the lives of many in countless good ways in his 13 years of life. His joy of life, kindness, numerous talents and values, which exuded all his actions, left an indelible mark in everyone who knew him. He showed us that life is not measured by the number of years you live, but how many lives you put into each day.
Sami was a skater, programmer, skier, dancer, youtuber, a boy who loved parkour, played the piano and practiced the guitar, developed business plans with his friends, an anime lover, a wizard who hung out with Harry Potter, designed a spaceship, planned to go to Mars, volunteer, camper, student, son, brother, friend of animals.
He is a boy who reacted to injustice and inequality in his environment, looked for ways to help homeless people by generously giving them his parents’ phone number, got involved in actions to help the less fortunate, and through this fund, he will continue to do good deeds forever.
On his behalf and on behalf of all the children who left us, by establishing this Fund we want to give a chance and support to children who do not have the opportunity to develop their talents and interests, and realize their potential.
The funds raised throughout the year will be directed towards supporting children and youth in educational activities, acquiring new skills and knowledge, broadening horizons, realizing dreams and conquering new worlds. Your donations will open the way for children and youth to have a happier childhood, to participate at competitions, win medals, work on their innovations, have greater self-confidence and self-esteem.
May Sami’s life and the love he was surrounded by and selflessly shared with others be an inspiration and encouragement to nurture and help children and youth to grow into happy, fulfilled and responsible people who care about themselves and others.
Because, children become what we nurture in them.
