In Novi Grad, the start of geological research in the lower reaches of the Una River will be officially started today, in order to define the impact of the planned storage of radioactive waste at the Trgovska Gora location, the Republic Institute for Geological Research confirmed.
The visit to the location where research is being carried out is planned after a meeting with the Mayor of Novi Grad, Miroslav Drljač, reports RTRS.
Field research in the Novi Grad area regarding the impact of the planned construction of a radioactive waste storage facility began in October last year.
