A few days ago, Business Studio Bihać (BSB), a project created in partnership between the City of Bihać and the Invision Consulting agency, officially started its work .
The project was initiated by Amir and Ajla Mulalić, experienced entrepreneurs and educators who have been dealing with people and business development for years.
Through their business consulting and personal development firm, they have worked with over 500 entrepreneurs over the past seven years. They will lead educational workshops and panels, where entrepreneurs from the Una-Sana Canton and the wider region will have the opportunity to connect and learn from each other.
– This innovative space is primarily intended for entrepreneurs and owners of small and medium-sized businesses, providing them with support for business development and networking. In addition, BSB offers a coworking space to those who want to work in a collegial environment, instead of from home, providing them with more opportunities for networking – Ajla Mulalić, director of Invision Consulting, points out for eKapija.
He adds that their mission is to offer entrepreneurs a space for constructive discussion about solutions, to create a “whining-free zone” in a way.
– We are not whining here, but looking for solutions. Through panels and events where guests will help us to raise important topics and come up with innovative solutions. The first event we organized already brought joint collaborations and partnerships and this is proof that if the right people are in the right place, cooperation will happen. Business Studio Bihać has one vision, and that is to be a place of innovation, discussions and professional support for entrepreneurs from the region.
– We want to create a business community where entrepreneurs and those who want to become entrepreneurs will come to get what neither an accountant nor any government body can give them, which is the experience of other entrepreneurs. All of us who have been in business for a long time know that it is invaluable to share experiences and have someone to ask for advice who is going through the same thing as you. Entrepreneurs understand entrepreneurs because they go through the same thing every day. Every month we will have events from various branches and topics, and through the coworking space and business training that will be available to our business club members, we will try to give special value to people in business – explains Amir.
In addition, he adds, Bihać, as a city on the border of the European Union, offers special opportunities and potential that they want to use in the best way.

– Currently, the metal processing industry is quite represented in our region where it is mostly 100% export, but also because of tourism, Bihać has great potential to become a “remote living” city where tourists will come and work from Bihać while enjoying the beauty of Una. This is exactly the option through our coworking space in Business Studio Bihać. Likewise, we hear more and more stories of returnees, who are setting up their own businesses or looking for employment.
Their first event with the theme “How to attract and retain top employees” was successful and showed that it is an extensive topic that needs to be covered, but also that there are successful companies in this region that work according to world standards when it comes to the attitude towards employees.
– Anticipating employee needs, flexibility and innovation was the main message of this event. In the coming period, we will continue with guests from the business world and important business topics. Entrepreneurs are already contacting us with topics and guests they want to invite.
