The French government awards scholarships for Master’s level studies every year to male and female students from Bosnia and Herzegovina who have an excellent academic level.
This scholarship program finances the costs of enrollment for one year of the Master’s degree as well as living expenses through a monthly stipend (for a maximum period of 10 months corresponding to the academic year 2025/2026.)
Who can apply?
Candidates who meet the following requirements:
- They are citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina
- He will not turn 26 until December 31, 2024.
- They have completed a three-year undergraduate study (for applications to the 1st year of the Master’s) or a four-year study (for applications to the 2nd year of the Master’s or one-year Master’s)
It is important to check the requirements that each study program requires , such as the level of proficiency in the language in which classes are taught, which will be directly assessed by the French higher education institution when candidates apply.
Selection criterion
The jury that decides on the award of scholarships will take into account several criteria, in particular the following: a high-quality curriculum vitae, excellent university results, the student’s motivation, the justification of the chosen study (specified in the application) and the alignment of the chosen study with the professional plan. Students who wish to study in French or who can prove that they have a certain level of French will have an advantage and will receive additional points when evaluating their candidacy. Candidates who pass the preselection will be invited to an interview .
