The Public Institution Center for Culture and Youth of the Centar Sarajevo Municipality, through numerous projects, programs and festivals, pays special attention to programs for children. On June 11 (Saturday), the event “Family and Ecological Day of the Centar Sarajevo Municipality” is planned in the Pioneer Valley, from 10 am to 4 pm, with free admission. The project emphasizes, above all, the importance of the family as the basic cell of every social community and its development.
This project will organize cultural programs on the central stage where the youngest and professional artists will present themselves, as well as numerous artistic, educational and sports workshops (Kike tike tacke, Latif Mocevic and Mravko travko, magicians, majorettes-BiH champions, Dogs Trust BH, hip-hop dance, Party Time BH, Mascots, Malac genijalac, Ballet and Guitar Schools CKM, KUD Bascarsija, Astro corner-Orion, CKM art workshop, CKM kids olympics-angry bird, sumo wrestlers, kids electric cars, Vuneno pozorištance, CKM smart playroom-brainstorming…). In addition to parents with children, children and educators from KJU Home for Children without Parental Care, Vladimir Nazor Center, Institute for Child Protection from Pazaric, Center for Blind and Visually Impaired Children, Center for Hearing and Speech Rehabilitation, SOS Children’s Village will be invited as well.
The most successful participants in art and sports workshops will receive special gifts, which will be provided through institutions and socially responsible companies.
