Marking the International Women’s Day 2022, the Women’s Network of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Network for Building Peace in cooperation with the Citizens’ Initiative for Constitutional Change, join forces with all its members and mark the Month of peacebuilding and strengthening the visibility of women’s activism in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In recent years, members of these initiatives have organized hundreds of activities throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina on the occasion of International Women’s Day, and we continue with our work this year as well.
Given the symbolism of March 8, but also the fact that every day of the year should be March 8 and that women’s rights, contributions and efforts of women should be talked about constantly Women’s Network of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Network for Building Peace and Citizens’ Initiative for Constitutional Change are decided to celebrate the current week dedicated to women’s activism throughout the month of March, and to symbolically support the celebration of the Month of Women’s Roma Activism in the period from March 8 to April 8, 2022 – in solidarity with our friends and sisters members of the Women’s Roma Network “USPJEH/SUCCESS” .
