This workshop will introduce you to the wide possibilities of non-refundable financing from various EU funds, including new EU programs – Horizon Europe, Eureka and IPA III fund. The new EU grants are a great opportunity for small, medium and large private and public companies, NGOs, universities and the public sector, including public administration bodies at all levels in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
We will present the currently open and upcoming calls from the ongoing EU funding cycle 2021-2027, which is the largest in the history of the EU and the Western Balkans so far. The focus will be on the calls for BiH and the “EU package” for the Western Balkans, which has just been adopted. The training enables participants to master the way of preparing a successful project proposal with their project initiatives, and to analyze examples of successful EU project proposals.
Through a practical presentation, we will introduce participants to the EU Participant portal, i.e., how to register as individuals and how to register a company and get a PIC number, as a condition for cooperation in all EU-funded projects.
Various opportunities for finding and cooperating through partnerships with foreign project holders will also be presented, which is especially important for those who are just entering EU projects and do not have the capacity to be holders of large projects. Such partnerships enable smaller companies and organizations to offer their services and capacities to leading European consortia implementing multimillion-dollar EU projects.
Through interactive work and networking in a small group, participants will have the opportunity to consult with the trainer about their specific project ideas and proposals that they are interested in.
This workshop will change the way you think about EU grants and grant opportunities. You will return to your companies and organizations with new knowledge about the EU, Horizon Europe, Eureka, COST Action, IPA III and EIC Accelerator, and make a significant impact and provide financial support for your projects.
