The Center for the Promotion of Civil Society within the Gender Budget Watchdog Network is organizing a third webinar titled Ensuring Equality: Gender Responsible Management of Public Finances and the Role of Civil Society Organizations.

The aim of this online gathering is to discuss the PEFA framework for assessing gender responsibility in public financial management and the role of civil society organizations in improving the application of this methodology in the Western Balkans and the Republic of Moldova.
Representatives of the Gender Budget Watchdog Network from the region, the World Bank representatives Maja Bosnić (NIRAS Development Consulting), Tia Elise Raappana (PEFA Secretariat) and Mary Collins (European Women’s Lobby) will be guest speakers at the event.
The working language of the webinar is English while the simultaneous translation will be available in Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian, Albanian, Macedonian and Romanian.
The Center for the Promotion of Civil Society (CPCD), together with partners Center for Research and Policy Making from Northern Macedonia, Gender Alliance for Development Center from Albania, Kosovo Women’s Network from Kosovo, Women’s Action from Montenegro, Gender Knowledge Hub from Serbia and Keystone Moldova from Moldova is implementing a three-year project titled “Network of Watchdog Organizations for Gender Responsible Budgeting in the Western Balkans and the Republic of Moldova”. This project will strengthen the capacity of organizations on gender responsive budgeting (GAB) issues. The project is funded by the Austrian Development Agency and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency.
