Mayor of Travnik Municipality Kenan Dautović held a meeting with the delegation of the Law Faculty of the University of Zenica headed by prof. Ph.D. Larisa Velić, dean of the Faculty of Law in Zenica and her associates, among whom is Harun Lozo, a native of Travni, a lawyer and PhD student at the Faculty of Law.
Precisely through Loza’s personal advocacy, the Municipality of Travnik is working to protect the geographical origin of Travnik cheese, in which they have the unreserved support of the University for all legal issues that stand in the way, with the aim of protecting local cheese producers, it was stated in the mayor’s statement.
The reason for the visit is planned cooperation in projects from EU accession funds. PFZE strives to realize an approach to the practical application of the results of scientific and research work through cooperation with the economy and local communities, reports travnik.ba.
In this sense, the project to protect the geographical origin of Travnica cheese, in which PFZE has just implemented it, and now there was a discussion about expanding cooperation to other areas of interest for the local community.
