The Down Syndrome Association Mostar is launching an action of collecting used textile for recycling.
“Do you sometimes stop on a busy day and notice, but really notice, the beauty of the nature around you? Although most of us live in the city, spring awakened everything – from small flowers along the sidewalks to tall canopies along long alleys. Here is an opportunity for us to do something for our environment. Our Association, in cooperation with the company VUPROM d.o.o. Čitluk (which is otherwise engaged in textile recycling), is launching an action of collecting used textile for recycling,” the Down Syndrome Association said in a statement.
It is time to reorganize our closets, the statement of the Association said, so they are sure that everyone will find a few rags, be it home textile, bedding, towels or sheets.
”We hereby invite you not to throw it away, but to put it in bags and bring the bags to the premises of our Association at the address Zagrebačka no. 34 (across from the EP HZ-HB building). You can bring textile bags in the period from May 10 – 17, 2021 from 10 to 15 h, but if you cannot stop by at this time or there is no one on the premises, you can leave your bags in front of the door”, said the Association, adding that they thank everyone in advance for participating in this action.
