Yesterday, Tešanj received the first meters of asphalt on Corridor 5c, which passes through this place.
Mayor Suad Huskić shared photos from this part of the highway.
With the implementation of the construction project of Corridor 5c, which passes through the area of the municipality of Tešanj, on the Putnikovo Brdo-Medakovo and Medakovo Ozimica sections, Tešanj will be closer to European roads.
Let us remind you that, after two years of struggle, the Municipality of Tešanj managed to achieve its goals in terms of changes to certain minutes and the spatial plan, which enabled the issuance of building permits in the areas to the left and right of Corridor 5C, within one kilometer of the route itself.
These changes did not only benefit Tešanj, but also other cities and municipalities through which the highway route passes. Namely, according to the valid Highway Act on Corridor 5C and the spatial plan, there was a ban on issuing construction permits in a zone of one kilometer on both sides of the highway.
At the moment, all eyes are focused on the completion of works on this route, and for several days works on asphalting local roads and construction of a roundabout on the main road M-17 in the settlement of Karuše have been going on for several days. In the north of the Federation of BiH, in the area of three municipalities, active work is being done on the Putnikovo Brdo – Medakovo section, which is slightly more than eight kilometers long, and the completion of the works is planned for the middle of 2025.
