The Network for Rural Development in Bosnia and Herzegovina invites you to participate in a two-day training on sustainable agriculture and rural development. The training was designed to familiarize farmers with trends in sustainable practices in agriculture that are in line with the goals of the EU Green Deal and the Farm to Fork Strategy.
Training topics:
- Organic agriculture
- Agroecology
- Sustainable horticultural production
- Circular economy
Training goal:
The goal of the training is to provide farmers with practical tools and knowledge in order to become active participants in the process of “green and fair transition” in rural areas. This means that participants will learn how to apply sustainable agricultural practices that reduce the negative impact on the environment, increase resource efficiency, and support the local economy.
Through these trainings, farmers will acquire skills that enable them to help their communities transition to practices that are more environmentally friendly and economically sustainable. Participants will be trained to provide direct support to other farmers, which will contribute to strengthening sustainable development and introducing innovations in agricultural production in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The trainings will be organized in four cities, namely:
28.10.2024 – 29.10.2024. Sarajevo
30.10.2024. – 31.10.2024. Tuzla
5.11.2024. – 06.11.2024. Bosanska Krupa
7.11.2024. – 08.11.2024. Banja Luka
Travel and accommodation: The training is free for all participants, the costs of accommodation and arrival/departure to the training are covered by the organizers. Arrival is possible the day before or on the day of training.
Number of participants: Each organization can delegate a maximum of two representatives. The call is open until the maximum number of participants is filled.
