All civil society organizations (CSOs) active in the Municipality of Novo Sarajevo are invited to attend the Public Discussion on the Selection of Priority Areas of the Public Call in the Municipality of Novo Sarajevo for 2021, within the Regional Program for Local Democracy in the Western Balkans 2 (ReLOaD2) funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
The public hearing will be held at the Dječija kuća (Grbavička bb) on Friday, November 12, 2021., starting at 11:00 a.m.

The agenda of the Public Discussion contains the following items:
- Information about the ReLOaD2 project,
- Discussion of the proposal area of the upcoming Public Call for the Municipality of Novo Sarajevo in the ReLOaD2 project for 2021,
- Current issues on proposed priority areas,
while the topics proposed for the Public Call are:
Education:
– Improving the knowledge and competencies of primary and secondary school students in the field of informatics and computer science, electronics and related disciplines (through the organization of various educational events, workshops, competitions and other similar activities);
– Providing assistance to primary and secondary school students in mastering materials from certain subjects (mathematics, physics, chemistry, foreign languages, computer science, etc.);
– Creating an e-portal to support the teaching process of previously mentioned content.
Culture:
– Improving the quality and accessibility of cultural content for all categories of the population through the promotion of various types of culture, art, cultural and artistic amateurism and volunteerism;
– Promotion of tradition and cultural heritage;
– Nurturing culture of remembrance for primary school students in Novo Sarajevo Municipality and other activities;
Sports:
– Improving the quality and availability of sports and recreational facilities for all categories of the population through the promotion and advancement of sports (affirmation of winter, water and other sports, organization of sports competitions for primary and secondary school students, and increasing the number of users of sports and recreational activities);
– Projects related to recreational-rehabilitation programs intended for the veteran population;
Youth support:
– Projects aimed at educating young people about entrepreneurship;
– Providing professional assistance and support to children and youth at risk of unwanted behavior, as well as improving the mental health of children and youth during and after the pandemic (counseling, psychosocial assistance and similar activities);
Support for children and adults with disabilities:
– Improving the quality and availability of educational and sports-recreational facilities for children with disabilities;
– Providing support to the education of students with disabilities through the introduction of new technologies and methods;
– Strengthening the capacity of professional rehabilitation and vocational training of persons with disabilities;
– Strengthening the professional capacities of persons with disabilities;
Environmental protection:
– Improvement of environmental protection in the Novo Sarajevo Municipality in accordance with the Program of education and training on environmental protection for 2021.
– Providing support to the development of urban agriculture;
– Strengthening public awareness on waste management;
– Practical application and promotion of alternative energy sources.
