The Network for Building Peace is a coalition of 220 members, organizations and schools from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina, which strives to build sustainable peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina and beyond. As part of its work, the Network for Building Peace administers the www.mreza-mira.net website, which provides daily information relevant to citizens, civil society, media and authorities. It is a space where the voice of civil society is heard, where activists can express their views, opinions or criticisms (if they are in line with the values of the Network for Building Peace), without fear of censorship. The Network for Building Peace strives to share positive stories, especially those related to peacebuilding. Therefore, the Network published a call for cooperation for people who would like to write about peacebuilding.
People from Bosnia and Herzegovina, regardless of their place of residence, who have experience in writing articles, can apply for the call for cooperation. Aware of the fact that young people often do not have the opportunity for employment, that their access to business engagement is difficult, we especially encourage young people to apply. Intersectionality is one of the guiding values of the Network for Building Peace, we encourage especially individuals belonging to marginal groups in our society to apply for this call.
DESCRIPTION OF ENGAGEMENT
The description of the engagement implies excellent knowledge of grammar and spelling of B/C/S language, knowledge of topics related to peacebuilding, responsibility, creativity, proposing topics, writing at least one article per month (min. 1000 words), contacting the interviewer, and possible fieldwork to take a photo, a statement, or attend an event. Articles created in the framework of cooperation with the Network for Building Peace can in no way be politically affiliated. DEADLINE
Application deadline is Friday, December 17, 2021, at 11:59 p.m. Selected individuals will be contacted no later than seven days after the call closes, and will begin engagement from January 2022.
