Call for applications – trainings for unemployed persons “Don’t wait for a job, search and apply for it!”

The Tuzla Community Foundation, in partnership with the Association of citizens Agora, is organizing training to improve employability competencies in order to support the long-term unemployed persons to recognize and use their own potential to find employment.

The training is intended for unemployed persons living in the Kiseljak local community who want to improve the skills required by employers and get support in finding employment. The program is for persons who have completed a minimum of primary education, or can communicate, write and understand their mother tongue.

After completing the training, participants will:

  1. Learn how to search for a job in the right way, show their knowledge, abilities and skills when applying for a job.
  2. Create their own CV (biography) that can be used for job applications.
  3. Have completed an A1 level of English in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
  4. Gain practical knowledge of informatics, and will be able to create documents, receive and send e-mails and search the Internet with a focus on job opportunities sites.
  5. Improve communication skills applicable in the business environment, such as first contact with the employer, job interview and the like.
  6. With the support of a mentor, be able to determine your professional goal and interests, see opportunities and use their qualities in the right way.
  7. Know where to look for information on vacancies and employers

The training program will include 70 hours of training, which will be realized through the following modules:

  1. Introduction to the program and dynamics of the implementation of activities, Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 12.00 to 15.00
  2. Communication and presentation at work, December 2021 and January 2022
  3. English language course, January and February 2022
  4. Informatics course, March 2022
  5. Individual work with a mentor, December 2021 – May 2022.

Through individual counseling, they will have at their disposal a counselor from the Association of Citizens Agora who will provide them with new information on opportunities for employment, self-employment, education, and the like. At the same time, the advisor will monitor participants throughout the program and be available for additional information and support.

The experience of educators and counselors in the field of adult education is a guarantee that participants will have quality and interactive education that will encourage them to acquire knowledge and to apply it later.

All activities will be held in the Social Center Kiseljak. The dynamics of the realization of the following activities will be agreed on the first activity.

An informative meeting for citizens on the public call and training program will be held on Monday, December 13, 2021 starting at 14.00 hrs.
