The first decade of successful work was celebrated by “Robini design doo”, a Prijedor-based company that designs and manufactures custom-made furniture.
It’s not a birthday without gifts, so the most deserving employees received gifts on that occasion. And not just any symbolic gifts – but cars, reports InfoPrijedor.ba.
Bojana Joveš, Dalibor Vržina and Jovana Pilipović received new cars.
Company director Duško Shalabalija handed them the keys.
Awarded workers say that they are surprised by such an award, but they also note that, “knowing Duško, something like this could have been expected”.
Shalabalija commented that this gift is his way of acknowledging and showing gratitude to the people who, with their work and approach to work, made “Robini” where it is.
He says that not only the years of work were decisive, but also the burden that the awardees took on themselves and their attitude towards work.
According to him, today it is a real happiness to gather such a team of people.
“And this was shown through the development of the company, because in a relatively short time we went from a room of 50 square meters to the point where we are now in over 2,000 square meters. We are well positioned on the market. Success is shared because the employees worked together with me to get to the level we are at today”, notes Shalabalija.
“As for the future, we will continue to work and develop. It is ours to fight, to be as good as possible, to develop and employ people. We wanted to make our contribution in raising the economy of the city. To employ people from Prijedor. To be responsible to our community. This is our imperative, and this is what depends on us”, he stated.
Jovana Pilipović, one of the awardees, commented on the director’s gesture:
“He always tries to ensure that we are satisfied at work, and to see if we have any problems. It is rare for employers to treat workers in such a way. And I thank him, because I got the opportunity to learn, to develop. And to become the head of the most beautiful and largest salon in this area,” Pilipović said.
Duško Shalabalija says that it is up to the employer to recognize true professionals without any vanity, of which there are fewer and fewer today, to treat them in a fair way and adds:
“If someone is good at something, they should not do it for nothing. Effort and commitment should be adequately rewarded. So that people really feel that they are a part of the company, that the success of the company is also their merit and that a partnership relationship is created”, emphasized Shalabalija.
The awarded workers of “Robinija” received identical cars, because the director believes that they made an equal contribution. In this company, they hope that in the coming years some other workers will be rewarded in a similar way and that the company will be even more successful.
