Today, the largest company and retail chain in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bingo, paid over 4 million BAM of support to its employees.

Thus, 7,910 employees received 500 BAM each, which together with taxes amounts to a total of more than 4.7 million BAM. This unique form of support in Bosnia and Herzegovina was given to all employees of Bingo and sister companies who have more than 6 months of work experience in this company.

Support is important in every segment of an individual’s private and business life. This is primarily human support, in times of crisis and hardship. Support, because today we are fighting challenges and crises together. Support, because we will be part of the same team tomorrow – said Ljiljana Kunosić, CEO of Bingo.

Bingo says this is just one in a series of activities aimed at creating a better working environment and better general living conditions for employees, which began with a 20% salary increase for retailers in 2020, in the challenging circumstances of the coronavirus pandemic.

Despite numerous unverified claims, Bingo confirms that their salespersons have the highest average salary in their sector, which, in addition to food and transportation fees, amounts to more than 900 BAM.

BiH company, which has previously been criticized for low salaries, is setting a standard for all other employers in the country.

Bingo is owned by twenty other companies, ten of which are manufacturing companies. Bingo’s primary activity is trade, with 220 retail stores, which make this Tuzla-based company a leader in the retail sector. Bingo is increasingly oriented towards production, in order to provide customers with fresh and quality products, respecting its original philosophy of the domestic chain of stores that provides support to BiH economy.
