# Are you between 16 and 21?
# Have you participated in any seminars so you finally want to do something concrete in your city?
# There are things in your local community that you want to change, but you need support?
# You have a specific idea of what you want to change, but if you don’t have the skills, knowledge and money to do it?
# Do you know a few peers in your city who would join you?
# Would you like to have four days to plan specific activities and get financial support for the realization of your ideas?
If all this applies to you, then you are in the right place and you need to complete the steps below!
➡ Step 1️⃣
- Think about things/phenomena that are not liked in this city, especially those that are used by young people…
- Get acquainted with these phenomena and the sense of some cool and creative way how some of it can be changed …
- Make sure that your idea includes other young people from this city and that it includes a concrete volunteer engagement… think about whether the problem could be solved through online activist action!
➡ Step 2️⃣
Register for one of this year’s two online Move On Seminars (due to the COVID-19 pandemic) organized by the Schüler Helfen Leben Foundation. With your friends, you can choose one of the two dates:
- 1st date: in the period from June 18 – 21, 2021 (Friday-Monday).
- 2nd date in the period from June 25 – 28, 2021 (Friday-Monday).
Please pay special attention to the part where you describe your project idea … as well as the date of the seminar that suits your team. Please fill in the application form here: Application form for Move On Seminars
The deadline for submission is Sunday, June 13, 2021 until 23.59h.
➡ Step 3️⃣
Please share this call with friends and acquaintances, and let them come up with their own ideas or apply together with an idea at this seminar, because SHL will choose a team of four participants from each city.
➡ Step 4️⃣
During the four days of the seminar, with the help of experienced trainers and mentors, you will develop specific activities and skills needed to realize your ideas, such as skills of planning, leading and working in a team, public speaking and communication and etc… At the seminar, you will meet young people from other cities, hear their ideas and exchange experiences, and establish contact for possible cooperation in the future. Together with the trainers, mentors and colleagues, make your idea perfect, and get financial support by SHL in the amount of 1000 BAM (per project) at the seminar itself.
➡ Step 5️⃣
After your idea is supported after the end of the seminar, immediately start with its realization … It will be much easier for you because you will have the support of friends who were with you at the seminar, trainers and mentors who you can always ask for advice, and of course you can count on support of your new friends you met at the seminar. When you implemented your idea, inform SHL about it and enjoy the results of your work. Remember to continue to bring positive change in community, because you know changes are possible.
