TV Nova, N1 and the Association Pomozi.ba are organizing a humanitarian evening “For our people” on Tuesday, October 8 at 8:00 p.m. live on both channels to help the population in flooded areas in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
More than 100 personalities from the public life of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region will answer phone calls from viewers, and each call will be a direct donation to the Pomozi.ba Association.
“We gathered around the same idea, which is humanity in action. Countless times Bosnians and Herzegovinans have shown empathy and solidarity, not only when tragedies and accidents happen in our area. Wherever we could be and help, our people are always on the front line. The pictures that we see these days from Jablanica, Fojnica, Kiseljak, Kreševo, Konjice are terrible and regardless of the fact that help has arrived from all sides, there is no doubt that the population of these areas will need help for a long time, to recreate their hearths and all that have lost. We want to tell them that they are not alone and that the whole of Bosnia and Herzegovina is with them,” they said from TV Nova and N1.
So far, numerous celebrities from the cultural and social life of the entire region have responded to the invitation, as well as intellectuals, athletes, businessmen and media representatives.
The hosts of the show will be recognizable faces of these two televisions, who will talk to the guests in the studio, and in addition to the calls, in the show we will witness the most touching and memorable stories from the flooded areas recorded by the reporters of TV Nova and N1. Live crews will be on the spot with people in the places most affected by the floods.
The association Pomozi.ba has already put into operation the humanitarian number 17039, through which citizens can donate 2 KM for the population affected by floods, and through the same number, citizens will be able to donate funds during the humanitarian evening, as well as talk to the guests in the studio. The number is unique for all telecom operators in BiH.
