We invite you to apply for the seminar “Zero Hour of Culture of Remembrance“, which will be held on Saturday, November 13 in Banja Luka.
Dealing with the past is a long and not an easy process, which is necessary if we want to build a better and more humane society in which basic human values will be respected. We believe that in order to overcome the many issues arising from the wars, which still burden us, an honest, open discussion about this painful period of our past is absolutely necessary.
The seminar “Zero Hour of Culture of Remembrance” aims to raise awareness among young people about how ethno-national political elites manipulate our past through education, media and everyday rhetoric.
THE CALL IS OPEN TO ALL YOUNG PEOPLE aged 16 to 30 FROM BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA.
THE COSTS OF TRANSPORTATION, ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD WILL BE COVERED BY THE ASSOCIATION OF CITIZENS OŠTRA ZULA
In accordance with the epidemiological situation and the decisions of the Crisis Headquarters of the Republika Srpska, the organizers will take all protective measures during the event. Masks as well as disinfectants will be provided for everyone.
The application deadline is November 4, and participants who will be admitted to the seminar “Zero Hour of Culture of Remembrance” will receive all technical and practical information by e-mail on Friday, November 5, 2021.
