An opportunity for BiH. producers: Norwegians want domestic wines, cheeses, honey, jam

In the Embassy of BiH in Oslo, on November 28 of this year, there will be a presentation of Bosnian products to Norwegian businessmen. On this occasion, the Chamber of Foreign Trade of Bosnia and Herzegovina invited domestic companies to register their products, since there is already interest in them.

Based on the research, as stated, it was identified that the following products could be competitive in the Norwegian market:

  • wines and spirits,
  • hard cheeses (which have approval for export to the EU),
  • honey,
  • fruit and vegetable products (bestil, jam, etc.),
  • products with halal certification (soups, pates, etc.).

During the presentation, BH. the products will be  presented to potential Norwegian partners, including representatives of companies, hotels, restaurants, as well as retail chains that have already expressed interest in importing from Bosnia and Herzegovina.  Product tasting is also planned, followed by B2B meetings between Bosnia and Herzegovina. companies and Norwegian partners. This format of the event will enable direct contact and exchange of information about the possibilities of placing products on the Norwegian market.

Product samples and accompanying accessories (trays and the like) will be transported by diplomatic mail, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will facilitate logistics and cover the costs of transportation and customs clearance for the participating companies. It is important to note that the vehicle that will transport the samples will not be equipped with a cooling device, so companies that need such a device will have to provide an appropriate solution themselves.

The working language of the event is English. Bh. companies bear their own travel and accommodation costs.
